down turn

Well I have been playing off and on, not having much luck with hands holding up. Last night I get KK in SB, guy from early position who has been raising too much, makes it $1.50 to go, playing a .25//50 nl table sat with $50. I make it $4.50, he calls, which I expect as he has done this since I sat. Flop is 982, 2 clubs, I bet his last $10, he thinks then calls, j turn q river. When he called I had him on qq or jj, turns out he had 10 6 spades, he called off his stack post flop with a gutshot and hit runner runner st8. The funny part is this is the same guy who was ranting about another guy doing the same thing... he told me sorry, he just had to get someone back for what happened earlier... HA, I told him it was alright and he had proved himself a moron earlier and he would lose it all soon so I wasnt upset. Less then 20 minutes later he had run it up to $50, he sat with $10, and busted. I ended up losing about $60 last night and Im down about $170 in the last month. Up and Down, but still riding steady and controlling my BR.

Well of course you didn't do anything wrong in the way you played your hand, the guy just had his 1% chance come in. It doesn't make it any easier to realize you lost so much money but next time around the result should be better. My problem when I come against idiots like that is that I assume they NEVER have good cards, so I play some garbage up against them and lose even more to a flopped straight or something legit. Arrgh!
