Merry Xmas
So last night Im playing, and I have like the worst hand in poker, 9s 2s, I limp in, sb pushes all in for $5, I had already decided to gamble just for the fuck of it when another guy pushes all in for $5.40, well .40 cents more I guess so, so I have to guys all in, flop comes 929... how freaking sick is that... snapped KK the other guy had k7. Not a huge pot but still, after something like that should I be allowed to play HA

Getting lucky
So I was playing my usual game, I was up $5 bucks, I sat with $25 so I was sitting with $30.75 when I picked up KK on the button. The cut-off raised to .50 cent, I reraised to $1.50, the sb makes it $5.50 to go, the cut-off folds, at this point I decide that if he has AA then he has AA and I push my stack in, he insta calls so I know he has AA, I flop quads, and scoop a $59.25 pot. The very next hand he got stacked again by a guy flopping quad queens against him... seriously the guys 1st 2 hands at the table. I ended up leaving the table 30 minutes later, left with $63. Getting lucky was definetly nice and usually I dont repush there with KK, I just call, but I said fuck it and isnt that the worst thing you would want to hear when you have AA LOL... I realize I got lucky and know I made a stupid play, but he could be reraising with QQ , JJ or AK, and this is his 1st hand, which might also make me believe he has AA and I should call or fold, but if I just call he wont call shit after a flop with 2 kings on it, cause I can only call his reraise with ak or kk, qq. I got lucky end of story and it was a bad play on my part... but sometimes those work for you

Sunday 200k
$11 buy had 26,000 people, I placed 2412, for $26.51 weak I know, but hey I placed and played well. I am thinking I could have gone deeper if Kim hadnt called stuck in the snow AT MY DRIVEWAY... anyhow I came back and had 77 pushed over a raise he had KQ he hit 2 pair Im gone... I am happy with how I played. Good to see that if I play my game and grind and dnt deviat too much from how I like to play, I see good results. Back up to around 600 now so the loss isnt that bad... I took about a week off too, I have noticed stepping away from the game has helped me play better when I do.
The Set up
Ok so I jumped on around 1:30am, played a $5 2 table sng, and a .10/.25 NL table sat with 25. Real quick on the tourney cause there was nothing special, I sucked out 2nd. But the cash game I totally set a guy up. 1st the set up hand and a little background. I normally search for a table with 4 to 6 people so I can sit and the table will flush out behind. I do this so there is only a few established players at the table, IE less people for me to have to figure out and wonder what kind of image they have in their minds for how they have played this table before I showed up. The new people still have to set their images up so its easier for me to have people come in after me. Anyhow I chose a table with a guy sitting with $57 and 3 other players with mid stacks, I sat with the max of $25. The big stack had been raising alot with hands like 84 suited in late pos and j9 off early, not little bets either $1.75 preflop kind of bets, early I had AK against him he had the j9, flopped jack turned King river jack... he got me for like $10. I kept playn got my $ back and more from other people when this guy has raised again, I am in the BB, he makes it $1.50 to go preflop, 3 callers in front and I have 5c 3c, I decide to call with all the action flop comes, 2c 9s 4s, so I have OESD, against a flush draw on board. I check, better bets $2.50, everyone folds I call. turn is a jc. So I now have oesd and flush draw, I decided he cant call me so I push my stack in of $16, he folds I show. Then this guy goes on a raising tear, gets his $ back, I go back to playn tight and not paying attention to his little tilt streak. Till later I get 44 in the BB and he is raising again. I call of course, 2 j 4 on board rainbow, I check he fires $4.75 I smooth call, 10 on turn I check he fires $8 I call, river is another 2 I push for about $16 he insta calls... so of course I have the boat and rake a $60 pot. He had k10 off... so that was the end of my set up. The 53 hand had him convinced I was a moron chaser and he fell into the he cant have a hand/ he is bluffing mindset against me and I made him pay... feels good to take down $57 profit last night in about 1.5 hours

down turn
Well I have been playing off and on, not having much luck with hands holding up. Last night I get KK in SB, guy from early position who has been raising too much, makes it $1.50 to go, playing a .25//50 nl table sat with $50. I make it $4.50, he calls, which I expect as he has done this since I sat. Flop is 982, 2 clubs, I bet his last $10, he thinks then calls, j turn q river. When he called I had him on qq or jj, turns out he had 10 6 spades, he called off his stack post flop with a gutshot and hit runner runner st8. The funny part is this is the same guy who was ranting about another guy doing the same thing... he told me sorry, he just had to get someone back for what happened earlier... HA, I told him it was alright and he had proved himself a moron earlier and he would lose it all soon so I wasnt upset. Less then 20 minutes later he had run it up to $50, he sat with $10, and busted. I ended up losing about $60 last night and Im down about $170 in the last month. Up and Down, but still riding steady and controlling my BR.
