Fuck heads up

Ok I just lost $65 play .25/.50 NL HU hold em... this fucker sucked out on me so many times and got so lucky it was just sick... I am not playing HU for a very long time. I obviously dont know what I am doing there... But the guy did get pretty lucky... all n preflop last hand he has A7 against A9 he turns the 7 of course.

Sunday night

Played some .5/.10 lost $20. Sat down at .25/.50 with $50 ran it up to $117, had AA 3 times won all three, $97 pot, $54 pot and $1.25 lol. Overall I played well didnt over chase draws or over-commit on 1 pair with a scary board, tried a couple bluffs that I had to give up on the river. I finally reached $500

Friday night home game

I hosted a .25/.50 NL hold em game Friday night, $50 min and $100 max buy in, we had 2 tables going for awhile, I bought in with $80 ran it up to almost $400 back down to $140 ended the night at $350, we played for about 12 hours. I had AA 6 times and won all 6. KK cracked by j2 on the river... the 2 came... overall I played really good and made good reads and good folds and waited for the game to come to me.

Tabled Bluff

Here is that hand, the guy I pulled it off against had been limping and/or raising every pot for about an hour... I decided to play back at him... this was he 2nd hand I played back at him, the 1st time I actually had TT and didnt have to showdown anyhow here is the hand... I put him on the flush draw, I called his flop bet with double gutter with clean outs, I called with intention of bluffing and stealing, it worked, POKERRATOR was the maniac at the table

Well i didnt play that long, maybe an hour, 2 tabled, 10/25 cent, sat wtih $25 at each, left one with $30 and other with $47ish... big hand was aq in bb, cracked kk, hit ace on flop he bet into me on flop after I checked, ace on turn for trips he called an all in on river for a $30 pot...

Feeling it right now

So lately my reads have been really good, i have been putting players on hands and finding i am right about 70% of the time right now, which really good IMO. I played a little at the 5/10 cent limit tonight was up about $25 early then one guy made 2 incredably bad calls on the turn and counterfited my pp once with ak, river paired board for higher 2 pair, and another time he caught oesd on river... back to the 1st hand, I have 44 everyone checked a flop of 572 to him and he fired $1.50 and it really felt like a steal to pick the pot up, so i made it $5 to go, he calls, 7 on turn, I push all in for $9.85, he smooth calls and a 5 on river he shows ak, 7s and 5s ace kicker... oh well

But I also played the 10/25 table at same time and took $25 up to $48... so it evens out, plus a little sugar.

Good run

Well started day with $303.67 now sitting on $384.77.

Played a cash game and $11 sng at same time, got 4th in sng for $18, so a $7 profit. The cash game I sat with $15, was down a little early, got down to $10, then went on a 3 out of 6 hand run where I won a $20 pot and two $40 pots and later won a $30 pot... one of the $40 pot I filled up on the river to crack KK. Well I sat down at 8:30pm Pacific time... with $25 left table at 9:20pm with $85... Table was short to start with, I ran it up to about 50 in the first 15 minutes... I need to request my hand history... Later when we had a full ring we had a total maniac at the table, over betting and calling everything... I hit against him for $80 pot... I will have to email myself my hand history so i can post that hand. Update later...

I just played .10/.25 NL hold em, I sat with $23.05, cashed out at $68. Overall I think I played fairly well, I got lucky, REALLY lucky one hand... which I posted earlier... I played a variety of hands after I had a large chip stack, no one called when i had AA or QQ but I won a bunch with 23 suited... and other odd ball hands... sometimes u just have to change gears and play the table that is in front of you...

EDIT: after thinking about this hand a little more I definetly sucked out, but the guy weak bet the flop when he was super strong, realing me in, making me think he had a flush draw and letting me catch a stronger hand and then gave me a free card on the turn, so really I sucked out because he let me.

Bank Roll

In September I put in $50 on pokerstars, I am currently sitting on $223.07. I have run it all the way up to $305, mainly playing .10/.25 NL hold em. Let see where I can take this... I lose my patients often... I have been working on my emotions at the table the most lately... Keeping a cool head has definetly kept my bank roll moving up both live and online... Lets hope I can continue to keep my emotions under control and moving up...
