So it has been almost a month since my last post... We had a family emergency so posting has been the last thing on my mind... and construction started on the poker room so I have been a little busy, anyhow...
I am still playing online, across two sites I have over $700 on a $150 buy in. Last night I made $50 in about an hour playing the .50/$1 table, I bought into a $3 tourney with over 1300 people, after 2 and a half hours I placed in the money 72nd to be exact for a whole $7.53... 1st was over $700... I was playing pretty good being patient, playing position when needed, just really went card dead after 2nd break had about 16k in chips and it was a steady slope down till I busted.
I am happy with my play I am glad I placed... just be nice to make it deeper, I really need to stop playing that big of a tourney at 10pm at night... I get too tired around 2am...
I havent been saving HH, I am going to get a poker tracker or something soon so its easier for me...
Oh and check out the band The Black Keys... they are like the White Stripes, except its 2 guys... and I just picked up The Raconteurs new album, Jack Whites other band... its pretty good, just giving it a first listen now... but The Black Keys album hasnt left my car CD player or my been changed from my IPOD in a week.

Saturday Night
30 people left and i flop a set and go out 30th, I win this pot and I am sure i make the $ or better… I have been getting bad cards the whole tourney just floating along… and this happens… really I have to stop thinking what their only out is on the river b4 it comes… all the money was gonna be in the middle post flop so it was unavoidable... still sucks. I played really well for not getting any cards the whole tourney so I am only unhappy with the last hand of tourney, see HH below.
Friday night I played in a $5 rebuy 36 person tourney, winner gets entry into 1.5 mil guarantee FTOPS event on Full tilt… I got 3rd… for a cash $27, I only spent the $5 so a $22 profit, so freaking close to a $300 buy in tourney… but really these last 2 tourneys I played really well and made good choices, just got unlucky in the end. Such is poker and I will break the barrier at some point. I know it.
After busting 30th on the poker stars tourney, I got on FT sat down at $1/$2 table with $100 ran it up to $160 left at $135ish....

well... so much for $500
I played a little, and I mean alot messed up last night... and then today I just wasted $26 in a $5 rebuy sat to the 50k guarantee... I placed 40th... 9 places away from qualifiying... oh well... Took a $20 hit at RAZZ, dont play when drunk... just dont... especially when u have to fold so many face cards...
Played a live $50 tourney at a friends house Friday night, had 3 tables I think, I was playing really good, got down to the final 2 tables... with around 60k in chips and I went card dead, picked up k10 clubs on bb make it 12k to go, blinds were 2k/4k BB pushes me all in, this guy had me covered and he was on a heater, this guy came into the table short stacked and couldnt be stopped so I folded my hand face up and he showed me AQ of, so it was a good fold that I am happy about, BUT the very next hand I picked up a tommy2guns bleeder thand K3 of spades, cut off limps i limp on button, sb folds, bb checks, board is like 2s 7s qh, bb bets 10k cut off calls 10k, preflop there was 14k in the middle, 34k in the pot when it gets to me, I have around 32k left, I figure if i hit my K i am good and i have the overlay with the flush draw and i know both player are calling my 22k more and they do, course another q comes on turn and I miss river and I am out of tourney in 12th or 13th place, but if I hit I win 108K or so and I have monster stack to bully the shit out of the table, but its not to be.
I am walking out to leave and in the garage I see a cash game with my YUM YUM OJ himself, I am telling you this is the guy you want at any cash game you are playing SERIOUSLY, he will give it up all of it multiple times, if you play him correctly, anyhow I had the host spot me $100 to short buy into a $1/$2 game... and mr YUM YUM doubled me up 2nd and I had QQ flopped set and we checked it down he bet $40 on river I pushed... he had 44, I stacked him a few hands later too... I played decent in the cash game, ended up cashing out around $180, payed my $100 back and got my tourney buy in back plus $30 so I call it a good night... till I got home and played online like I said above....
New goal is $500 and sustaining it

$500 again
Well I made it back to $500, I was up a bunch tonight but overplayed 77 and this total donkey woke up with AA 4 handed, seriously this guy called every hand, every bet and wakes up with AA oh well.
I have mixed it up lately played some HORSE last night made $40, played some RAZZ tonight was up a little... was running good early in the CC tourney tonight but cards went south 1st hand after break, I push all in with aq spades, get called by a7 hearts, floped top pair top kicker, 2 hearts on board, flush came i was gone... 23rd... sick
I played a little at the $50 table tonight, called a 3 way all in with 77 on board of 865, hit 4 on river for st8 cracked aa and set of 5s
I will continue to grind the $25 tables!
