Well I played for about 5 hours tonight started doing sng's $5 cashed in 1/3 3rd place... blah, then I played a couple multi $5 3 tables I placed 4th in one for $14, Satan got 3rd for $24... good work...
anyhow I was playing .25/.50 while playing the last tourney with Satan and another friend of mine, sat with $50 and left with $138... I played really smart poker... folded big hands when i should and stole a few when it looked like the right spot, of course with an overlay in case I get called...
One hand I finally caught the table captain, this guy had been pushing alot of pots and cbetting the flops and not getting much resistance, i played a few hands with him folded 2x and fired on a flop i didnt think he hit, neither did i, i did have nut flush draw, he folded... like I thought he had shit... anyhow back to the hand I am in sb, he is plus 3 from bb at full ring table, he bets $2, the button calls, I call with 10 10, I have been waiting for you now its time to pay... flop it please... Ad 7c 10h.... oh is it so sweet... I knowing he will fire out check, he does for $7, the button folds I ponder... smooth call or pop it smoot call or pop it... hmmmm no flush draw... st8 draws... but I dont really put him on that I have him on what he has, ak or aq, he has ak btw, I settle on smooth call, Ah on turn, OMG can this get any freaking sicker... I know he has trips... he has no clue i have a boat... i think i nutted right at that moment... I check the turn, he fired $16 so fast like bitch get out of my pot I have this and I am gonna take ur $... too bad I decide to re-pop it to $54.50 which he insta called, 8d for a brick on river... send the $118 pot to me... thanks... I appreciate ur time... I really love how i played that hand, I had him on a range preflop and i knew my opponent would bet and call with that hand... its so lovely I was already up about $40 at that point but talk about icing on the cake...
ok its 3am bedtime... I said 2am and I am still up...
